Yes, it's true - Mattsmyra is back for season 29. We now have the Ultimate Collection of Sims 2, but the readers won't notice any differences.

Good job of not losing your game in transition!

What happened to the old parrot, did it actually die from the shock of the fire? Or do they have two now?

The parrot didn't die directly after the fire, but like the next day - didn't notice it happening, I guess the butler had cleaned it out already. So only one parrot again. They seem to be very delicate, dying all the time.

Hey, you are back!!!! So glad to see another update here it's been so long, and it seems your game has survived! Great job on the play. Parrots seem to be super delicate, any little thing seems to kill them.

That's true, but the sims don't really mourn parrots, so we just get a new one :)

Glad to see this one back :) Though I admit I sort of thought it must have finished and I forgot. So hard to keep track of them all. Must be hard to pick things up again after so long and having forgotten what was going on with everyone. Look forward to seeing more of these sims :)

It is a bit of a challenge to pick up everything. Some files are missing and there were glitches to fix and CC to find again, but now we'll give it a try. It's my vacation project :)

Nice to see you again! Parrots are good for developing charisma. Yes, they die often. I saw a mod on MTS2 that keeps them living longer. Wow look at all those date flowers....and greek house action. It has been a long time since ASimWen has attempted greek house.

There are Points in the prosperity challenge for greek house, so that's why everybody is in it :)
