Bodies were concealed by a heavy, red velvet material which adorned the halls of the castle in their own sea of crimson bliss. Together they were completely lost to sense and reason, won and owned by passion and desire. Their lips were desperately, yet tenderly, moving against each other, thrilling to the touch of the other. Hands clutched at the material separating their skin, crumbling it with their actions. Though they were cramped in the alcove, they’d never felt freer. Arms and legs were twisted into an unfathomable mess that somehow seemed planned, as if this was the positions they should’ve always be in.
A head of dark brown hair was pushed up against a stone wall, the throat of which was stretched out offering better access to the lips travelling along it. One arm was slung around a broad hip, finger tips digging into the material of the trousers, the other running through soft golden hair. Gwen.
An arm braced itself against the hard wall, level with the flushed cheeks of a dark skinned beauty pushing their fingers into the stone. The other was running up and down yellow material, crumpling it, smoothing it, crumpling, smoothing. Up, down, again and again, in a rhythmic trance. Arthur.
Gwen tugged gently with the hand lost in Arthur’s hair; he brought his head up following her request and rested his forehead against hers. Gwen leaned forward pushing herself into him and away from the wall capturing his lips in her own again. Using his hips he pushed back softly, sliding her back into the wall. The hand that he had been running up and down her side, traced its way down her side once more but this time it didn’t run back up; instead it carried on down to the fingers that was holding onto his hip. Taking her hand in his attentively; Arthur laced his fingers through hers and brought their joint hands up above Gwen’s head, pressing them against the cold of the stone.
Gwen’s hand that had been stroking his hair snaked its way gradually down to his hip digging her fingers into the skin. Arthur smirked into the kiss, grinning at her little display of rebellion and squeezed the hand aloft by her head. The need to breathe was beginning to creep into their lungs, making them burn fiery hot like the rest of their bodies, but they pushed back the feeling determined to keep their lips together for as long as humanly possible.
When at last the need to breath became too much and forced them apart, Arthur rested his head gently against Gwen’s, so that their noses touched, while they both breathed heavily. His eyes were closed as he savoured the contentment of the moment. Gwen sighed happily while rubbing her nose slowly against his causing Arthur to open his eyes, only to find Gwen’s fluttering open at the same time. Blue met brown. She beamed at him, her eyes sparkling in the way only hers could. He smiled wistfully at her, eyes softening to a dreamy like state.
Pushing up with her nose Gwen tilted her head and kissed him chastely, sighing into his mouth as she did so.
“I missed you.” she whispered.
Arthur raised his head and placed tender kisses on her forehead mumbling.
“Me too.”
Then suddenly a smirk spread across his features and a glint began to sparkle in his eyes as he brought his face back to her level.
“Although if this is how you greet me every time I’m away……” he broke off in order to kiss her.
“I mean pulling me into his alcove,” He kissed her again.
“In the middle of the day,” and again.
“Where anyone could pull open this curtain,” he said layering the words with a fake mock horror tone before meeting her lips with his.
“Tut, tut, you really are naughty.” he said pulling away to look her up and down as he teasingly chastised her.
Gwen bit her lip as the colour in her cheeks reddened and she looked away from Arthur bashfully, before finally turning to face him a look of determination on her face.
“Are you complaining?” she asked eyebrows raised, her tone was bolder and she had that gleam in her eyes.
Arthur’s smile widened and he lent back, chuckling into her cheek.
“No. Quite the opposite.”
Gwen turned her face and lent into his touch.
“Hmm, so stop talking already and kiss me.” Gwen said pushing her hips playfully into his.
Arthur laughed once more and with Gwen giggling along with him their lips found home.
