I've recently spun up a yarn similar in style to the collinette yarns.
It wasn't my initial intention, but when I finished, I was putting it away in my yarn storage and saw it next to the collinette. It's made me think I could try spin thicker yarn to match it even more in style.

Personally, I like yours BETTER than the Colinette. I wouldn't change a thing about it =)

Hey, random question, and im sorry if this is spam.

Where do you get the waffle headbands for your dreadbands? Also, how do you secure them to the band? I have a couple similar headbands but i cant find anymore, and i was looking to make a psuedo-wig I could pull back into a ponytail out of some seriously thick yarn I have.

Perhaps this link to this chunky-as yarn will be a fair trade.

I've used them to make a pseudo wig, but sewed two together to create it.
It works well
