Summary: Jung Yun Ho was never a people person. Having only three friends in the entire world - who, most of the time, got on his nerves - he never learned how to act anything but hostile towards other people. But does that all change when he one day meets Kim Jae Joong, the clumsiest and most naive klutz he had ever known? Maybe not…

Yun Ho slammed the door to his bedroom and leaned against it, running a hand through his hair in frustration. He dug his hand into his pocket and took out a cellphone - the one that was supposed to be Jae Joong’s - and clutched it tightly. I guess there won’t be any need for this. He thought as he threw the gadget harshly to the floor.
Yun Ho made his way to his bed, dropping himself dead on it, face down. He yelled into the sheets in frustration, and in irritation; it came out muffled and he was grateful for that - lest Jae Joong hear him. He rolled onto his back and stared up at the ceiling, arms and legs spread out.
Kim Jae Joong
He wasn’t sure what it was about that boy that made him feel so angry - more so than the usual, so jealous, and so hurt.
Yun Ho heaved a sigh and closed his eyes. Maybe when his temper would calm down he’d be able to think straight and figure out just what Jae Joong was to him.

A soft knock could be heard coming from the door, and it made Yun Ho sit up. For a moment he just stared at the door idly as many thoughts ran through his mind; thoughts too many that he couldn’t concentrate on any of them. After a while he then came to the conclusion that he should just open the door, he had, after all, calmed down a little already.
Yun Ho made his way to the door and opened it. When he did, he was a bit surprised to see Jae Joong standing in front of him holding a cake with the words “I’m sorry” neatly written on it with the use of icing. He looked at Jae Joong and then at the cake, and then back at Jae Joong again before blinking. “What’s this?”
“An I’m sorry cake.” Jae Joong replied, lowering his head and bringing the cake in his hands a little bit closer to Yun Ho, “I made it for you.”
Yun Ho didn’t say anything, and his silence only made Jae Joong feel more nervous. What if he wasn’t forgiven? Nothing could be worse than not being forgiven. Especially by Yun Ho. “Sorry for being so inconsiderate. I just left without leaving you a note or something, and then I just started talking about what happened with me today, and I know you didn’t want to hear about it because-“
“Stop talking.” Yun Ho interjected, waving his hand in the air like there was a fly flying around him. “I don’t want to hear it.”
Jae Joong’s face fell, and he felt his heart sink, “So you don’t forgive me?”
Yun Ho mentally began to panic. A crestfallen Jae Joong was the last thing he had wanted to see. “Well…” he said, his tone indifferent as he put on a poker face, “you did go through the trouble of baking me a cake…”
Jae Joong nodded.
“So for the cake’s sake, I forgive you. But not because I was moved by anything you did.” As soon as he had said that Jae Joong’s face lit up and a huge smile made its way to his face,
“Thank you!”

“How’s your hand, by the way?” Yun Ho asked as he and Jae Joong ate the cake that the latter had baked.
Jae Joong paused from eating and raised his hand, “It’s a lot better,” he nodded, “see? I don’t even need to bandage it anymore.”
“That’s good.” Yun Ho shrugged and continued with the slice of cake in front of him. Jae Joong just stared at the other man while slowly and distractedly eating his own slice. Yun Ho was very attractive, and he didn’t know exactly why, but looking at Yun Ho made him feel light on the inside; like he was frolicking through a field of daisies while a gentle breeze ruffled his hair and tickled his skin.
“Ah, you’re being so careless again.” Yun Ho said, snapping him out of his reverie. He reached across the table and wiped icing off the corner of Jae Joong’s lip. Oddly, there was a smile on his face, and not the usual frown.
Jae Joong’s cheeks slowly turned red, the area above his lip where Yun Ho’s thumb had just brushed against tingling. Yun Ho’s touches were somehow always electrically induced, not in a painful way, but in a nice way. Jae Joong wondered for a moment if it was wrong to think all those thoughts about his brother, but later on blamed the icing for it all. He had probably put too much and it had most likely gone to his head.
All those thoughts would go away in due time, when the somehow drugged icing would be out of his system. In the meantime, he decided he’d savor that moment - for he did, after all, love spending time with Yun Ho; more so than with anyone else.

“When was the last time you went out?” Yun Ho asked, leaning against the doorframe of Jae Joong’s bedroom, arms crossed against his chest. The other, who was once staring out the window, turned his head to face Yun Ho and smiled, “Last month, with Chang Min.”
Yun Ho inwardly grimaced, “Did we ever go out?”
“Do you mean together?”
“Yeah.” Yun Ho nodded.
“Then no.” Jae Joong shook his head, pouting slightly.
“Huh,” Yun Ho dropped his arms and stood straight, “well get dressed, then. We’re going out.”
“Really?” Jae Joong beamed, springing up from where he was seated, running all the way to Yun Ho and hugging him tightly, “Thank you!”
“Aah!” Yun Ho yelled, a bit startled by the other’s sudden embrace. Quickly, he pushed Jae Joong away from him and glared, “Didn’t I give you rules?”
“Yes.” Jae Joong nodded, and Yun Ho pursed his lips,
“Care to tell me what rule one is?”
Jae Joong nodded once more and frowned playfully whilst pursing his lips. He lowered his voice and stiffened his expression in an attempt to mimic Yun Ho, “The first rule is that you absolutely cannot come near me if you are any of the following,” he paused dramatically, just like how Yun Ho did before and continued, “Wet, dirty, or wet and dirty. I am very particular about cleanliness and about keeping clean, so don’t you dare do that again.”
Yun Ho rolled his eyes and used his index finger to push Jae Joong’s forehead. He tried to frown, but there was still a lingering smile tugging at the corner of his lips, “You didn’t have to recite my exact words. But I’m glad you remembered nonetheless. I am disappointed, though, that despite your sharp memory, you still broke my rule.”
“But I’m not wet. Or dirty. Or wet and dirty.” Jae Joong pouted slightly, “So I broke nothing.”
Yun Ho squinted his eyes and bent forward, leaning into Jae Joong; their faces merely inches apart. It made Jae Joong’s heart race and he gulped thickly. Yun Ho then raised his hand and brought it to Jae Joong’s chest, letting it slowly, and almost erotically slide down; his eyes never leaving the other’s. Suddenly, his hand stopped midway through Jae Joong’s torso, and the younger male could feel Yun Ho tapping him slightly. Yun Ho smirked, leaning in even closer and Jae Joong gulped once more.
This is so wrong. This is so wrong. This is so-
“There’s a stain on your shirt.”
-Oh.
“That counts as being dirty.”
Jae Joong then began to laugh awkwardly and took three giant steps backwards, moving far away from Yun Ho. He mentally scolded himself for thinking such thoughts about Yun Ho, he was his brother for heaven’s sake! Then a thought suddenly dawned on him. Just yesterday he had baked a batch of cupcakes - with icing.
Wretched icing! Jae Joong thought.
And once again, he had decided to blame everything on the icing.

“Where did Chang Min take you when you came here?” Yun Ho asked as he and Jae Joong walked through the busy streets of Hongdae.
“Um…” Jae Joong began to ponder, until his eyes caught sight of a familiar place, “He took me there,” he pointed to the ice cream shop he and Chang Min had gone to, “Can we go there again?”
“No.” Yun Ho stated and grabbed Jae Joong by the wrist, pulling him in another direction.
“We went to that coffee shop, too.” Jae Joong pointed to the coffee shop some feet away from them, and Yun Ho pulled him in yet another direction.
“We’re going to be avoiding all the places Chang Min took you.”
“But those were nice places…” Jae Joong said, but when Yun Ho glared at him for saying that, he quickly shut his mouth.
“Anyway,” Yun Ho began, never letting go of Jae Joong’s wrist, “as I was saying earlier, we are to avoid all the places where-“
“Hyung! Jae Joong!” both Yun Ho and Jae Joong turned their heads and found Chang Min waving at them from a small distance.
Speak of the devil, and the devil shall appear.
“Hi Chang Min~” Jae Joong greeted once the aforementioned male had caught up to them; willing away the uneasy feeling that was coursing through his entire body at the thought of Chang Min liking him.
“You never answered any of my texts.” Chang Min pouted, and Jae Joong smiled.
“No credit.”
“Huh…” Chang Min nodded, pursing his lips, “I should buy you some, then.”
“HAHAHAHA CHANG MIN.” Yun Ho suddenly chimed in, obviously forcing a laugh. “What are you doing here?” he asked, tightening his grip on Jae Joong’s wrist.
“I wanted to go to one of the restaurants.” Chang Min shrugged, and then suddenly, his face lit up, “Heeeeeeey, why don’t you come with me, Jae Joong?”
“I’m still here, you know.” Yun Ho rolled his eyes.
“Fine. You can tag along.”
Jae Joong looked at Yun Ho and bit his lip, “I am a little bit hungry…”
“Tsk. Hyung, you didn’t even ask if he was hungry. What a bad brother…” Chang Min clicked his tongue in disappointment, shaking his head disapprovingly.
“Shut up, Chang Min.” Yun Ho hissed before turning to face Jae Joong. “Fine.”
“Follow me!” Chang Min announced like a dope, and Jae Joong laughed. Yun Ho merely rolled his eyes and began thinking to himself.
Damn cockblock.
~;~
“Sit down, Jae Joong.” Chang Min told him, pulling a chair.
“Um… thanks.” Jae Joong replied, sitting down. Chang Min then proceeded to take the seat next to Jae Joong, and that’s when things started getting ugly.
Before Chang Min could even make the contact of ass to chair, Yun Ho yanked him away from the seat; the other nearly skidding. “You can’t sit next to him.” Yun Ho glowered before pushing Chang Min away, successfully sitting down beside Jae Joong.
“Oh no you didn’t.” Chang Min retaliated then, lunging at Yun Ho and forcefully pushing the latter off; both men ended up wrestling on the restaurant floor, creating a scene, and at that moment, Jae Joong wanted to disappear.
Jae Joong bowed apologetically and embarrassedly to everyone in the restaurant before managing to successfully stop the two wrestling males, “I can just on the other side, while you two sit next to each other. That way, nobody has to sit next to me.”
Chang Min and Yun Ho glared at each other before looking at Jae Joong, “Fine.” They said in unison, and Jae Joong was thankful that both had agreed.
~;~
“Jae Joong~” Chang Min sang
“Yes?”
“Try this. It’s fried ginseng.” Chang Min took a piece of fried ginseng in his chopsticks and moved his hand closer to Jae Joong in an attempt to food him. Yun Ho was quick to act, though, and forcefully bumped Chang Min, resulting in the latter dropping his chopsticks.
Chang Min picked up his chopsticks and put the fallen ginseng back on his plate, but not before glowering at Yun Ho. “It was an accident.” Yun Ho shrugged mockingly. He picked up his own pair of chopsticks and took a piece of bulgogi.
“My bulgogi is way better than Chang Min’s cheap, bitter, fried ginseng.” Yun Ho said, while scoffing at the mention of Chang Min’s name, “Try it.” he said, bringing his chopsticks closer to Jae Joong. And just as Jae Joong was about to eat the piece of meat, Chang Min deliberately spilled his iced tea on Yun Ho’s lap.
“Fuck!” Yun Ho cursed, his chopsticks falling on the floor. He quickly turned to face Chang Min, ready to murder him with his eyes, and maybe even his bare hands.
“Oops.” Chang Min covered his mouth, “My hand slipped.”
“You fucking ba-“
“Yun Ho,” Jae Joong said, and Yun Ho stopped talking and stopped trying to kill Chang Min when he saw the younger boy stand up from his seat and walk over to him. He took a handkerchief from his pocket and proceeded to wipe the iced tea from Yun Ho’s pants. “I know how important it is for you to keep clean…” Jae Joong trailed off, concentrating on getting the iced tea out, as much as he really could.
While Jae Joong kept busy, Yun Ho looked at Chang Min and smirked before sticking his tongue out like a brat. He had won.
Chang Min huffed and crossed his arms, looking away. At that moment, he regretted ever spilling his drink on Yun Ho.
~;~
Chang Min had insisted on walking home with Yun Ho and Jae Joong after, and no matter how much the former protested, he still did anyway.
“Wasn’t today fun, Jae Joong?” Chang Min asked, draping his arm over Jae Joong. Yun Ho was quick to swat his arm away, though.
“Somewhat.” Jae Joong nodded.
“Tsk, Chang Min. You totally ruined everything. If it had just been me and him, then he would have said that he had a wonderful time.”
“You would have bullied him into saying that.” Chang Min grumbled, and before Yun Ho had the chance to retaliate, Jae Joong exclaimed,
“We’re home!” Yun Ho smirked and walked past Jae Joong and Chang Min, so he could unlock the door. Being the sneaky bastard that he was, Chang Min took that opportunity to pounce on Jae Joong and landed a peck on the latter’s cheek.
Jae Joong gasped, and unfortunately for Chang Min, Yun Ho had witnessed everything. As if pressed for time, Yun Ho hurriedly pushed Jae Joong inside the house, and he followed suit. “Goodnight, Chang Min.” he hissed before harshly banging the door in the slightly taller male’s face.
