The Beekeeper is AMAZING! Very diverse and interesting.

Nellie McKay is great. I also have her album (and some unreleased songs) and she's witty as fuck. She's also aquired taste, and shines a lot more live. But definitely give her a try, she's like... Norah Jones with humor and a little but of spunk.

You described Nellie to a T! She's great. My favorites are David and Sari. One of my friends is actually the creator behind her main website and introduced me to her after a concert once. (I'm not a starfucker, mmkay?)

Everything is going very well! And you HAVE to see Tori in the summer, she's going to rock your world. I've been listening to a files of some of her newer songs live and solo, and you can tell she's just ACHING to tour again. God I love that woman.

Nellie's voice was really not what I expected it to be. It was a surprise to hear her voice after seeing her album cover for so long, but a good one.

You're getting me excited about seeing Tora, but if she doesn't sing Black-Dove (January) I will yell at her from my seat! I'll go crazy, tacataca style! ;-] And I hope she tours in July, cuz I probably won't be able to see her in June.
