Does it ever worry you that every once in a while we "uncover" the same lessons over again? Perhaps we should get better about holding onto them the first time around? Or is it just a matter of sometimes it takes more than once to "stick"?
Well, I guess it all goes back to my new-found appreciation for the idea that people can't be told certain lessons - we have to experience some things for ourselves in all their glory and pain. And yes, I knew this before but didn't fully get it. And probably still don't at a certain level. So basically life is just a never-ending cycle that hopefully eventually spirals somewhere, not just stays stuck in its same entrenched rut.
