"Ugly man" sounds interesting. It wasn't published here up to date (only the "George Miles" cyle is aviable here) but maybe I'll go for it and order a US copy. Christopher Moore isn't that much of my cup of tea, but I have only read "Lamb" a few years ago.I have to admit it was quite entertaining but somewhat unsatisfying. During the whole book I had the impression it was written by someone who tried too hard to be as witty and funny as Terry Pratchett and Douglas Adams in addition.
I'm thinking about reading the "George Miles" cycle. I feel like it would take a really long time though, so I'm hesitant to begin it. Christopher Moore's works keep improving; if you want to give him a second shot, I recommend one of his more recent books, like my personal favorite "A Dirty Job." Sometimes it does feel like he's trying to hard, but I find him amusing when I'm in the mood for dark-but-not-too-dark humor.
