1000 paper cranes

So I got it in my head today that I want to try and make 1000 paper origami cranes. I may not start anytime soon because I don't want to just throw them some where to have them get squished or ripped, I want to be able to display them. And right now, there isn't really anywhere I could do that. I'm planning on hanging them from the ceiling by

I honestly have no idea what I would wish for! haha I guess I would have plenty of time to think about it though... while I'm folding all those cranes!

I wouldn't really do it for the wish though, I would just do it to do it.
