House hunting

Well, Alexei and I went house hunting, and it was actually a pretty nice day for it. I mean, not raining or anything, which would have made the day a very dreary kind of thing. But I was able to borrow the car from dad, and that made getting from house to house a much faster thing, which I'm sure Alexei appreciated even if he never mentioned it ( Read more... )

If you're not busy tomorrow evening, you could come over for dinner. I'm a decent cook, and I won't have had a chance to actually get anything dirty yet. If you already have plans, though, it's no bother. Any night is fine, although if it is a work night for me, I will have to consider it breakfast.

Captain Ick seemed quite entirely pleased to see me go. So... thank you for coming to my rescue, Mistress Motivation. I am much obliged.

Careful, if you keep calling me Mistress like this, I'm going to have to invest in a whip to deserve the title!

Other than that, tomorrow evening sounds great... but I don't know how long I'll be out with Deirdre and the others. How about I text you when I know. Have you got a mobile? If not tomorrow night, then will everything already be dirty by the night after do you think?

What nights are your work nights?

I may still have a whip lying around. I'll have to check the dark recesses of the bottom of my suitcase. Yours if you want it.

I was kidding about the dirt. Cleanliness is next to Godliness, after all. Don't worry your pretty little head about my hygiene. Given time, I would have gotten even Captain Ick's motel room clean.

Tomorrow night with a text is perfectly acceptable. I never delete a number, and I appear to have yours, so I'll send you mine when I'm done here.

I work Thursdays through Sundays, currently.

*raised eyebrows... VERY*

Hmm, so the day after tomorrow night will be a work night... what time do you start working? Or maybe... I could come to your djing? I mean... I've never seen a dj at work before. But you can say no, I mean, it's not like it's that important...

Hah, I'm going to hold you to that clean godliness now. See how long this will last!

Did you ever notice how Domestos sounds like the name of a Greek god?

You're perfectly welcome to come along to my DJing. I start at 11:00. I would feel remiss if I didn't feed you first, but that is of course entirely up to you.

Don't want the whip, then?

N-... no to the whip!

Oh, I have no problems with being fed. Shall we say perhaps around... I don't know... how much time do you need to travel to your work? How much time should we leave for eating?

Shouldn't be at work later than 10:15. Should be okay if I catch the 9:50 bus. Wanna stop round about 8:30? I'll be sure to have quite a spread for you. I am taking this seriously, just so you know.

You definitely seem to be. *smirk* If I didn't know better, I would think you were trying to impress me, Alexei Pushkin!
