I found out today that I got into Brooklyn College. NYU waitlisted me by the way; that info came yesterday. A) Waitlists irritate me (Swarthmore waitlisted me when I was applying to colleges, and I immediately pronounced I didn't care what they decided). Hiya Lady ... You know what i think ... I am a CUNY girl through and through and swear by the system. Afterall, I do teach at Hunter and I will be going to the Grad Center. It's a beautiful thing.

Congrats! I've heard very good things about Brooklyn. They have an excellent MFA program, which doesn't have to do with what you're doing, but still, they do, and that's nifty.
