I just got a call from someone in New Zealand. I looked up his student ID number for him, and he said 'cheers' in his wonderful New Zealous accent. And this makes me ever so happy. The whole Scottish study abroad experience left me strangely conditioned to be delighted whenever anyone says 'cheers ( Read more... )

Tonight shall be bowling attempt #2. We have reservations this time.

I remain so very amused that bowling in Manhattan requires reservations. :D

I remain kind of appalled. I'm wondering if I should wear a cocktail dress and rent bowling pumps.
