Interestingly, SixApart seems to have decided to divest from their terrible mistake in acquiring LJ and all of the problems that they inherited re: censorship and policy.

I guess it's just too much for them.

Russia isn't Communist anymore, though they do seem to be fast-tracking a democratic dictatorship. It's all the rage these days. Six Apart wasn't exactly a bastion for free speech, either. I think LJ will survive them both.

I'm not sure I'm cool with LiveJournal Inc.'s new flagging toy. All we need are more Warriors For Innocence clones, flagging anything they find offensive.
