All this talk about Paul Newman's ill health has me following links and seeing pictures of him from his younger days.

How could I have not noticed before that he was quite possibly the most handsome man on earth for a while there?

I don't really like the way rosemary smells, but I really like the way it tastes.

Well, I hate Word 2007. It's the least intuitive word processor I've ever used.

My sweet "little" cousin is leaving for college at the end of the summer, and I decided that instead of sending her a graduation card with a check back in June, which her parents would have made her put into a savings account, I'd put together a care package for her once she got there, with some cash for her to spend on pizza. Take 1 bag freezer-pasta-meal-in-a-bag, spinach fettucini flavor
Empty bag into skillet as directed
Remove 80% of the butter-cheese blocks
Cut up a big bunch of scallions, add to skillet
Add a drizzle of olive oil
Cook as directed

Results: it didn't need all that butter and cheese to swim in, in order to be tasty. Scallions gave it good flavor.
