I guess what I'm trying to say is that in my re-imagining of this journal, these entries are my non-mushy love notes and I am your fascinating, slightly-older-but-definitely-not-patronizing high school boyfriend. Hows' about it, kiddo?

Somewhat to my surprise, I think I actually blushed at this. (And then was immediately beset by the same kind of insecurities I would've had about it in high school, of course -- e.g., Oh crap, when will this fascinating person realize that I have somehow tricked them into thinking I am also fascinating? Eek eek! -- and so on). Um, anyway, keep up with the notes, for sure.
