Well, it definitely seems to have broken down into a love/hate thing. I had to stop reading the TWOP boards because there was too much negativity (and I got really sick of mitochondrial Eve discussions).
Things that are pissing people off: giving up technology, Kara, the tag, pretty much what I expected.
I would say 100% reacted positively to Baltar's "I know about farming" breakdown, which is good. I never would have believed back when I first started watching that (a) I would actively root for Caprica/Gaius to get back together and (b) that I would be pleased they would have their (somewhat) happy ending. (Gaius trying for his entire life to become something greater = one huge epic fail, so that's not really all that happy, but he is redeemed? At least?)
I actually really like the Kara disappearing/Lee FINALLY being his own man and not what society/his dad/Kara need him to be. He's going to go explore. Yay!
I can see the love/hate. My brother is one of those people who loved the finale but he's totally stuck on the whole mitochondrial Eve *and* giving up the technology. The latter he especially will not let go

Tell me what you find out since I'm pretty isolated from fandom save for a few LJ friends like you and an errant blog or two who talks about it.
It was a glorious finale. And like the show itself, it was messy and beautiful all at once.
