I dunno.. your theory about possible outcomes post-contract is totally valid, but I still think there's some room for potential exits back into your normal personality. Minus some memories, I bet, but I'm guessing this would be something that Joss would get into far down the line, and not near S1 - didn't Echo, Victor, and Sierra all come in right around the same time? Or am I making that up? (I tend to do that

I had been spoiled on Alan Tudyk = Alpha for a LONG LONG time. So I knew going in, and I really wish I hadn't, unfortunately most of the websites I frequent either just dropped it in or had it so poorly concealed as a spoiler that there was no way I was avoiding it.
It didn't really affect my viewing of the episode though, because I was all, well, maybe Alpha's just really misunderstood? Haha.
It sounds like the Attic does mean your body is still alive. Maybe like a vegetable, where you have no consciousness, but you're just left to rot up there? Or perhaps the bodies = Matrix-like energy. I am guessing it isn't pleasant at any rate, that's for sure.
I'm sure Joss has decided to make sure that we haven't seen a Doll post-contract yet on purpose, but I do agree with you, I'd assume they could give false memories or erase knowledge of a lot of stuff going out. The funny thing is that I really don't like Caroline, so um, I am not really all that invested in that bit.

Yeah .. I care less about fixing the scars and more about keeping him on as a regular. He is my favorite. Him and Sierra.

Really, I sort of like everyone except for Topher, who is slowly easing his way out of hatred into okishness.
