Why, in a world with amazing, wonderful beer, would someone *choose* to drink horse piss?

Strangely, I used to say that. DH kept working on me, and finally found The Gateway Beer (aka cherry beer). Didn't taste like "beer" to me (which I finally discovered was the hops). And strangely drinking beer has been good for my career too...

I used to say that too, but then I discovered white beer (Belgian) and *that* I enjoy tremendously. My repertoire has expanded somwhat, but still very limited.

i love beer so much. unfortunately i've found gf beer to pretty much all fall into the horse piss category.

I haven't yet found a beer that I like well enough to voluntarily choose it from among other options, and I've tried a lot of different kinds. Now hard cider is a different story.
