I'm signed up, too, and have been on the marrow registry for years.
I think the initial problems were medicaid related - he's being evaluated right now. He's not been rejected (as of right now) - they refused to evaluated him because of the red tape.
Ooh, I might have to get one of those raku pieces! *muses*
These sorts of stories make me glad I am a donor. I figure if I'm a goner, they can cut me up like a Christmas ham if it will help someone else live a fuller life.
Edit: I caved and got the watercolor/carbon/copper piece. Since it's for a good cause and all.... :D

Between flying the kids to MI in 2 weeks and having to hold out money on standby for Brian's grandpa's impending funeral, there is no cash.
Those raku (is that right?) pots are AMAZING. Totally in love.

I couldn't figure out if he was being rejected from the list because of medication he's taking to keep him alive, or some other condition?
