"And if we are to dream, then let us dream of each other, of this love and its endings and all the things in between. For it is within this imagining that we might meet our meanings. It is within this dreaming that we might know ourselves."

I didn't want to settle for a stock 'this is amazing' comment but I'm all out of words.
Really, though, this is immaculate.

to be complimented by you, rachel, is the most incredible honour for it is to be praised by an unarguable talent. thank you for this and for everything.

Lately I have spoken so much of "the prospect of" with others, and it has often dwindled off at the end and left itself bitterly looming once again. People so often see the entire idea of such amassed prospects as devastating, possibilities so large they are mistaken for the impossible. But here, not you, you have spoken of it so well.

it is such a pleasure to know someone as wonderful as you. and the reaction of others you speak of here fascinates me. perhaps people are right to see prospects with anxiety. because the sheer sight of them can be terribly devastating though incredibly luminous. ah, our futures - i don't know whether to be crushed or elated by the thought of them. they are impossible and immanent all at once.

You are so kind, I hardly know you yet. Really I hope everyone in your life is wildly aware of this myriad of wonderful things you have to offer.
