This week I had my second speech for public speaking class, involving the use of visual aids. I decided to do mine on theatrical and sfx makeup, so I worked up a few examples over the weekend. They're pretty basic, but I thought I'd share them with you guys ( Read more... )

My teacher actually told me I put TOO MUCH effort into this project. I reassured her that, no, it was actually just fun. I seriously missed doing a bunch of crazy theater makeup. Ohhhh Fanime 08.... <3

I very rarely can produce this kind of stuff for con, it's so much harder when it has to stay looking good for hours and hours!

Also, my fish fin is made out of toilet paper and latex.

When I did the exaggerated and comedic makeup, I totally thought of when you let me listen to the Scarlet Pimpernel in the car. XD

I did drop off the face of the internet for a while. I'm glad to be remembered, though! You still come up to Chico at all? It'd be fun to hang out and talk cosplay. I found you again from a Fairy Tail cosplay picspam. <3

It's alright, I'm not as active on the internet as I used to be either. I'd love to hang out, but I rarely get to go to Chico, and when I do it's to visit my girlfriend.

You know, on the subject of hanging out and cosplay, you should try to come down for the small Sacramento cons sometime. I actually think Sac Con is on March 8th. It's tiny and full of pre-teens, but friends make it fun.
