purging junk from your room/anywhere else in the home is one of the most satisfying feelings ever. Yes, there are some things that should be kept, like heirlooms. But lots of stuff is completely useless, and just wastes space. Still can't bare to get rid of my stuffed animals though. :(

i still have a shelf of stuffed animals, a box of beanie babies/ty bears, and a box of briarberry bears. idk if i'll ever get rid of t hem, haha.

but all of the notes, old notebooks, nick nacks, and junk just has to go. there's a reason i could keep every little thing in here- "i could make something with this," is a line i often use- but then i would be consumed by junk!

That's some pretty old nostalgia to let go of. It's sometimes hard to believe it's been years since we were all in high school. but kudos, I'm too sappy to let anything go. Haha. However, if a full size bed were in the mix for me... I just might be able to. Congrats!

i felt so sappy letting everything go, there were so many notes from people i haven't talked to in such a long time.

i'll still hold on to all of those memories, though. i don't need to hoard them in a drawer, it'd like i was trying to hold on to those people.

i dunno, i am sort of going through this buddhist/minimalist thing, letting go of worldly attachments and such. haha. it's amazing how much STUFF i have accumulated over the past twenty years, i can only imagine what it will be like in another twenty. yikes!
