will all relationships be a compromise, then, in light of that last part? if it is impossible to present oneself as a person with capacity for all behaviors (mild, shrewd, honest, rough, thunderbolt!)at one time, then i feel cheated by the dishonesty of appearance. hmm, that's the problem of crowds.

appearances are deceiving. but in due time a consistency of thought and action is revealed of a person.. which in turn creates their demeanor. which is why people are never quite who or what they seem. maybe life is not a compromise. eat or be eaten. seems to be the way of the world. hey.. let me gnaw on your knee, while you nibble away at my brains... its like a jungle sometimes, makes me wonder how i can keep from goin under. co-existance is a preference.. predator prey parasite or host. take your pick.

robin once said to me last fall.. something along the lines of: when you open up to someone and they open up to you, its a common misconception that you actually care about each other.

i dont know.. i keep getting fucked with in the world. it seems like i keep getting pushed around stepped on and fucked with. it will drive one crazy. and lonely.
