I completely understand and don't think you're being an asshole or a snob. Most rating communities/communities involving an application process degenerate into something like that, eventually, it seems. I think there's still hope for takeahit_, though it seems a lot of the more intelligent members have been getting fed up with the stupider members and leaving. I hope those of us can hang on and fix it...

Yes, and I have total respect for you for understanding. You are right about rating communities degenerating into.. what I described.. and for that reason I feel you have to cut off the dead wood and make a new one, which will eventually degenerate so someone will make an even newer one and so on.

i dunno, i say fuck the new narc community and lets all get lives. i don't find much joy in rambling to people and not many ramble back too well anymore, at least in my case. i think i'm just growing up and some things are gonna get left behind
