Yay, I'm finally onto the last part of the Beautiful World album, and I'm covering the last six tracks.
And again, I haven't looked up any of the lyrics for the songs apart from the already released singles, and the play count remains at 3 plus the single run for tracks 13-18 so I could review which is which.
Track 13. "Janakute"
"very stylish"
♫ if you haven't noticed, I have this weakness for jazz and blues bass lines...and this Aiba solo really tickles my 'bass' bone. And I love the chorus that go "Janakute!" or "Ja nande!" for every verse, so cute! I like this solo as much as I liked Magical Song from the previous album--no wait, I like this one better. Lots.
Track 14. morning light
"runaway instant favorite"
♫ I think I'm going to love singing along with this song. It's strong and catchy and if, during the concert, there's going to be some awesome choreography for this, I'll be very very very very very happy. I have this certain feeling that the lyrics are good, and heck, who can resist Ohno's "whoa~hoh..whoa~oh..whoa~oh!"?
Track 15. To be free
"established karaoke-favorite"
♫ haha, I had a lot of fun memorizing the song so I could sing along the karaoke track for this single. And I like the overall feel, it has a really clean and inspiring feeling on its own. Ohno's and Nino's adlibs were so enjoyable to hear...not to mention the build up for Nino's "yeah~"..*sigh* I really love singing his part.
Track 16. Kono Mama Motto
"THE ultimate shocker"
♫ heck. I think everyone in the fandom was pleasantly surprised with this change in Sho's solo style, if not altogether shocked at the level of sweetness that this song is letting out. I firmly believe this will be the only Sho solo that I wouldn't get tired of listening to. Ever. I bet the lyrics are as sweet too. Damn it. XD
Track 17. Hatenai Sora
"very drama-OST"
♫ to be honest, I didn't care much for this song at first, and if it wasn't for Nino's drama, I wouldn't get used to this. BUT... listening to this again but as part of the album gave me a good feeling, like I'm welcoming back a friend or some such cheese. And oh, I do love the bridge of this song, it's really inspiring.
Track 18. Tooku Made
"very pop-cute"
♫ reminds me of Summer Splash...and some older feel-good B-sides. It's cute, but the vocals are the usual so-so...like this song would be a staple encore song in future concerts. I kinda feel bad about describing it in such a manner, but it doesn't mean I hate it. XD It'll probably grow on me like the rest of their songs.
Finally, I can play the album again anytime I want, and I hope I find the time to research the lyrics soon. If only I had chosen to take up some Nihonggo credits before, I wouldn't be in dire need of translators for my own progress in the fandom. I'd probably be getting what most of the lyrics say and then just consulting the translators if my understanding was correct and if I'm struggling with some lines. Oh well, there's still my Italian to worry about, so for the meantime, even though it's regrettable, it's a 'no-I-can-not' kind of treatment for the Japanese language.
Anyway, I'm off to re-watch the Meitantei Conan 2011 SP with my sister, because we like Mizobata Junpei, even if his role is cooler than the usual. I'm kinda used to him playing the goofy-type of characters, but hey, he kinda looks good being cool.
