There just doesn't seem to be any good news lately. This whole thing with the hurricane is just depressing. We've been watching the news everyday and it just gets worse. My dad's friend's son is somewhere in that mess and he hasn't heard from him in days. The looting, violence, murders, rapes...absolute anarchy is astounding. I can't say I blame

you are my favourite, beautiful, intelegent and elequent friend. i know how you are feeling. i, however, am not even able to vent in any sort of way that would be coherent, as it would consist of a lot of "iiahdkjahsfkjahfkjahgfkjhg!". so thank you for writing about how you feel, as it calmed me down to see that other people care.
