Maru arrived in time, a gloomy face, not really in the mood of celebrating, feeling he betrying his frineds, his lover. He slowly stepped in silently left the presents under the tree.
Kitayama walked into the christmas party quietly. He had all his gifts ready to put under the tree. So he walked over and placed them down gently. Then he looked around to see who else was there
It was a week after christmas but Masuda didn't care. He slowly approached the now bare tree and placed a single box underneath the tree.
"Maybe my teaching position here was a bad idea..."
He looked around at the empty campus. Sighing, the dance teacher dragged himself around the tree. "I probably will drink my sorrows away before the first day of school..."
Sitting around with a cup of hot cocoa, Junno heard more than he saw Massu coming to the tree. Seeing his friend looking so down, he got up and walked to him.
Massu was startled to see that someone else was in the room. "Ah gomen. I didn't notice you were here Junno.". He sat down next to the tall sensei and sighed. "It's just kind of sad how Kurogin seems to be falling apart. And I was really looking forward to this teaching job..."
Junno smiled. "It's okay, I come here to read or simply watch the tree. I don't have the heart to put it down yet."
Sighing, he watched around. The place seemed to be full of students, but now... "Yeah, it really is sad. I remember when I first came in Kurogin, there were so many people... I was feeling a bit overwhelmed. I would never have guessed we would come down to this."

"Good evening Taguchi-sensei.", Aiba bowed, "Should I lay the presents under the christmas tree?", he added.

Seeing Nakamaru gloomy mood, Junno tried to cheer him up.
"Hey, I see you've brought gifts. I hope you'll like what we bought for you!"
He knew about the students' troubles, and even if it was heart-breaking, he couldn't let the sadness flow in the day.
