What is fear?

It is said people fear what they do not understand. A smaller number are intrigued by it. Few are lucky enough to have a phobia that doesn't present itself on a semi-regular basis. But I am assuming that almost everyone has that one something that they fear immensely but are still forced to come up against with often, or even want too
