I have a short attention span and usually listen to the same few songs for a few weeks and then get a few new favorite songs. So my top five AT THE MOMENT would have to be (in no particular order):

-'Telephone', Lady Gaga
-'Her Name is Alice', Shinedown
-'Seven Devils', Florence + the Machine
-'So Cold', Ben Cocks
-'This is War', 30 Seconds to Mars

CLEARLY BOTH! XD Though I'll split into two comments!

Top 5 women in my fandoms (roughly in the order that I fangirl them, though I chose 5 different fandoms):

-Catelyn Tully Stark, A Song of Ice and Fire/Game of Thrones - I AM SO SURE I SHOCKED YOU WITH THIS ONE. XD I don't know if there's anything else I can say about my FIERCE WINTER QUEEN and how she powers through as life continues to shit all over her, and how hard she feels everything - love, anger, grief, determination. And of course she is the most politically savvy of her honor-bound family and yet her still innate belief that people will more often than not act with honor ends up being her downfall. =( How she breaks is just so terrible and tragic and her thoughts ("not my hair" =( =( =( ) at the RW (keeping it as unspoilery as possible) made me feels more feels than anything else in the books. ALL MY FEEEEEELS FOREVERRRRR I JUST WANT TO HOLD YOUUUU!!!

-Minerva McGonagall, Harry Potter - I love how utterly fierce she is and honorable and brilliant and she tries to hide ( ... )

I never really watched Grey's Anatomy or Desperate Housewives, but your descriptions of those characters sound good. I love your first three, especially Catelyn as you know, XD. I love how Cat fills a role (adult lady/wife/mother) that is almost never truly represented in fantasy fiction. In GRRM's story, she is her own fully developed character, which makes HBO's marginalization of her very saddening. I just love her to pieces, and I love how you write her! The RW is one of the most traumatizing things I've ever read in fiction.

I have some general issues with JKR's handling of her female characters, but I really like Minerva, who is one of the more admirable characters in the series. She is capable of strictness and kindness, and she often serves as the voice of reason. She has her moments of bias, but that makes her more human and ergo, more likable. I like the Quidditch touch, too!

I'm not a huge SVU fan, but I always appreciated Olivia for seeming like a realistic female detective. She is sufficiently tough but still ( ... )

I'd love to hear your thoughts on JKR's female characters! I have some thoughts but I want to hear your own first. =) Minerva was just so kick-ass. I adore her. <3

I totally forgot that an honorable mention, and maybe even booting Bree off the list, is Snow White from Once Upon A Time. A totally kick-ass interpretation while not being over the top and still seeming so true to the pure-hearted character we know. And with a touch of sassy - "You found me." "Did you doubt that I would?" "Well, to be honest, the glass coffin gave me pause." And Ginnifer Goodwin is so perfect and is born to play Snow White.

GASP THREEEEE??? YOU GREEDY GREEDY LADY. XD And such interesting ones!! Again doing separate comments for rambling room.

Favorite foods:
1. Crabs! My grandfather has a boat that he takes out on the bay/ocean so I'm spoiled with fresh seafood. I refuse to clean them (ewwww) but I'll pick them!
2. Create-your-own Saladworks salad - I always get the same kind. XD I'm a huge salad fan in general, but they're such a pain in the ass to make. So instead I will shell out ridiculous amounts of money for them!
3. Broccoli-cheddar soup. Especially from Panera Bread. Just inject it into my veins mmmkay?
4. Chicken quesadillas - I worked at a Mexican restaurant for four years. And I mean, c'mon, chicken, cheese, and carbs, WHAT COULD BE BETTER?
5. French fres - 'Cause duh. MMMMM.

(Honorable mention to shrimp, little-neck clams, pizza, CARROT CAKE, chocolate, cous-cous...basically I just love food, HOW CAN I ONLY PICK FIVE???)

I am sooooooo greedy. I CONFESS.

1) Seafood! OMG I'm originally from the west coast so I'm a seafood fiend. And now that I live in the Midwest it's like I stepped onto an alien planet because everyone here is like, "Seafood? YUCK!" Granted I sort of get why they have that reaction because everything has to be shipped from the coasts and it's less than ideal once it's here and the good stuff COSTS A FORTUNE. So yeah. Still...I miss fresh seafood. -sobs-
2) Salads!!!! Omg time-consuming BUT DELICIOUS!!!!!!!! :3
3) BROCCOLI CHEDDER SOUP FROM PANERA BREAD??!!! OMG WE ARE MADE FOR EACH OTHER!!!!!! MARRY ME??!!!!
4) Mmmmmmmm chicken quesadillas...
5) You had me at french fries.

CARROT CAKE!!!!! CLAMS!!!!! PIZZA!!!!!! SHRIMP!!!!!!! AND OMG I'VE NEVER HAD CHOCOLATE COUS-COUS BUT IT SOUNDS DELICIOUS SO NOW I MUST HAVE IT!!!!!!!

I have many favorite foods, but my top three are chocolate, mangos, and CHEESECAKE. My friend is currently making me a chocolate mango cheesecake as we speak. EXCUSE ME WHILE I GO DIE OF DELIRIOUS JOY.

DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD I THINK ABOUT THIS ALL THE TIME??? Mostly because my top four are pretty solid and in place, but my fifth spot is FLUID.

1. Catelyn (MY FLAWLESS TULLY QUEEN I AM A CREATURE OF GRIEF AND DUST AND BITTER LONGINGS *DEAD FROM FEELS*)
2. Tyrion (kind of tired of his WHERE DO WHORES GO but he never fails to amuse me and Peter Dinklage is flawless CLEARLY)
3. Brienne (MY FLAWLESS LADY KNIGHT!! I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT YOOOOOOU)
4. Jaime (Especally when he's trollin' someone. I kind of want a fic of just Jaime trolling people, especially people like Ned who are SO DAMN TROLLABLE.)
5. THIS IS THE TOUGH ONE. Sometimes it's Sansa. Sometimes it's Margaery (THAT STEALTH UNDERCOVER BITCH ILU). Sometimes it's Dany but her storyline bores me to tears in the last book. SOMETIMES IT'S SAM BECAUSE HE IS ADORABLE.
