This is a beautiful look at post-war Sansa and Jon! You did a great job showing the poignancy of surviving while still keeping the overall tone hopeful. I loved the section about the sept and how Sansa realized that she actually missed the people (bb!Rickon chasing the light!!) of Winterfell rather than the structures. I liked Sansa's feeling of loneliness when she realized that Jon didn't recognize the sept ruins. Jon is very endearing here in his sincere attempts to support Sansa and do the honorable things. I loved that Sansa thought about how he could never grasp how different it is to be a woman in charge. Sansa and Jon's mutual desire for a family was the perfect heartbreaking ending. Excellent work!
Thank you dear! You know that a lot of my Jon/Sansa feels come from the idea of shared grief and shared rebuilding...but there would still be grief that would be Sansa's alone and I wanted to play with that a bit, as well. I do think Jon would have her best interests at heart, too - too bad it will likely never be canon! ;_____;
oh, Jon, she should tell him, have you not learned that sometimes leading is not as easy as merely giving the command?

I love it when you write Jon/Sansa (in spite of your love for angst) because you completely get why I like Jon and Sansa as individuals and as a couple.
Thank you!!! I have very specific Jon/Sansa feels so it was fun to get to write my ideal endgame, even if there's no chance of it actually happening. SIGHHHHHH.
(Also Jon is kind of a sucky commander, LOLOLOLOL)
Oh my gosh this is so beautiful I can't stand it. This is so heartbreaking and lovely and I adored every bit of it, but especially the end because it gave me a warm and fuzzy feeling. Gah.
