what i did wrong
when giving poofer iv. fluids
what they were cold. and it hurt

if you have it warmed up to her body temp
& give it to her in a comfy nest it helps
a box makes it hard to let her bolt.

I'm sorry to hear about Lucy...I know what you mean about a cat seeing you through thick and thin. That's my Rosie...Rosebud...I got her when I lived in a little ramshackle apartment in the country. She was tiny. And so cute. She's seen me through so much...like you, singleness, Chris, kids, marriage...she's 16 for crying out loud. She's got healthy issues, too...but we're just sort of letting nature take it's course. :( I love that she sits on your lap with the baby...that is too cute.

I'm so sorry :( Its always so difficult when our fur babies get sick. I second the commenter above about warming the fluids... it does make a difference.

*hugs* Thinking of you...

I'm so sorry to hear about Lucy. I did the sub-c fluids for Esmerelda a few times - and it was really hard to do and yeah they hate it. But of course if it makes her feel better...

Still...sigh...

How old was she when you rescued her?
