A/N: It's not the monster in the closet that kids have to worry about anymore...it's the ones lurking in the hallways.
The little girl screamed as she ran across the grass, stumbling over rocks and her own feet as she tried to get away. From behind she could hear the lumbering sounds of her attacker and the sick sound of a tongue lolling out as said attacker drew closer. Before she could avoid it, the little girl tripped and was on the ground, screaming again as a shadow fell over her.
"No, please no!" she whimpered. Suddenly, a tongue lolled out and licked Sierra's entire face. The little boy's screams turned into laughter as she squirmed in the grass. "Uncle Venom, stop it!"
The alien symbiote snorted and growled, almost playfully, at the child scooping the smaller being into his arm and licking her again, ignoring the protests.
On the porch overlooking the Avenger's garden, Johnny Storm and Peter Parker watched the scene below.
"Um...Pete?"
"Yes, Johnny?"
"...You do realize you're letting a crazed psycho play with your daughter right?" the former Fantastic Four member asked, looking at his long time friend with a raised eyebrow.
"Just think of him as a giant puppy dog. The kids love him."
"A puppy that could swallow both of us in one go and has a tongue longer than any of us know because I gave up trying to figure it out a long time ago?"
"Yep, something like that."
