He swung around, foot leaving the ground as his knee slammed into the punching bag. Another quick turn and his fist swung around to hit the same spot before the man stepped back, panting softly as the bag swung back and forth before slowing come to a halt.
“Not bad.” The voice made Bucky stiffen and turn, fists coming up in a defensive position but he froze as he saw the intruder.
“….I really need to change the security around here. Your mentor let you in didn’t he?”
“Something like that. I asked where you were and he showed me. I did the rest myself.” Kate grinned as she pushed away from the beam she was leaning against and moved closer, eyes sweeping the room before settling on Bucky again. “You look like you could use someone to spar with.”
“Is that so?” Bucky’s eyebrow lifted as he folded his arms over his chest. The archer’s grin sharpened a bit and she nodded, setting her bag down near the edge of the mats before slipping her coat off.
“That’s so. Scared to take on a girl?”
“Hardly. Let’s see what you’ve got, kid.”
