Written for NaNo! =D
It hurt more than anything he had ever experienced before in his entire existence. What made it worse was the fact that it had happened so fast. One second he was firing at the Decepticon leader and the next he was staring at his own lower half directly across from himself.
Unfortunately, after that instant, everything seemed to go in slow motion.
Falling.
The cold hard ground.
The wet feel of Energon all around him.
Jazz struggled to stay online, urged his spark to stay strong but the pain; oh the pain.
He could hear noise but couldn't make sense of any of it. There was someone there, someone that he knew but his optics could barely function anymore.
So much pain...
And then there was a warmth, a calming sensation. The pain faded away and he started to feel...to feel better.
On the outside his spark gave one last weak pulse before it faded but on the inside Jazz was at ease.
He knew everything was going to be alright.
