Listening to a piece of music,
Reading a piece of music,
Playing a piece of music.
There's really a subtle difference in the level of appreciation of that piece. Listening to the piece of music now sounds so hollow, just those pretty melodious notes floating around in your head, creating perhaps, some imagery. Reading the score then brings about the complexity of the piece, all those running notes crafted so exquisitely by the composer, for all the various instruments just to put together a masterpiece. But I think only with performing that piece, producing every single note with your fingers and instrument, only then can we reach that level of appreciation and create the love for that piece. With that, it enhances both listening and reading the scores as well. The hard work behind performing also brings about more memories yeah.
Anyway, just took a look and tried out the pieces yesterday/today.
STRESSSSSSSSED.
Playing 3rd, 4th ba wei, and 16 fens lining the whole bao wei huang he pu canz. I feel like jumping into huang he, (probably can get to the mood even better) then maybe if I am lucky I will turn into a butterfly (you know, like zhu ying tai, just that no liang shan po haha!). Okay, so anyway
TOTALLY STRESSED.
&& My liuqin totally needs to go for servicing! Alot of za yin, and when praccing my lesson stuff it sounds so >< Pracpracprac!! (Have been neglecting it cos of concert, geog exam and all ><) And I am supposed to start feeling stressed for upcoming EYAs as well, because its in 2 weeks time. I am stressed that I am not starting to feel stressed! OH DEAR.
Okay this is some sort of very messed up blog entry, so as to entertain tanjiahui.
Sat had HCl (yeah hydrchloric acid totally, feel like drinking it now my throat right now. Okay I am joking) mock exam, pretty okay. After that was KFC with Huiwen and Qianwen, before setting off to RJC Scholarship Day. NUS booklets all out ):, so the most substantial copies I took were from NTU and DSTA. I dont really want to go into a local uni, but I think I might just end up staying here. Doing psychology is really not a practical job, sigh. Night went for Jiang, after four weeks of missing it.
Sunday just read Harrypotter, and now I have finished it haha. So, thats the boring life I present to ya.
Tomorrow's chinese SA, and night would be choir concert at the Esplanade.
