Title: We found love. [Part ½]
Junsusheartbeat
PG-13
Pairing: TaecSu, Taecyeon/Junsu
A/N:  Sorry, my writing skills are probably seriously rusty from how long I haven‘t written something…  So this is going to be in two parts cause I have so much more that needs to be written for this..  Sorry if you don’t like it~ ^.^; Or if it bad or something..

It was all those memories from back in the days that he loved the most, it was the best ones that he kept close to his heart.  They weren’t his normal everyday memories that he usually forgot within’ a weeks time, they were all the memories of his time with the one man that he fell in love with, the one that no matter how hard he tried to forget them, no matter how hard he tried to push them behind him, they just came back full force.  And this is what made him smile, because he knew that no matter what happened, no matter how bad things got, those memories together always bound them into a love that could never be forgotten or erased, no matter how much time goes by.

He could remember this day clearer than any other day, the day he first encountered the other man, Kim Junsu, the average, glasses wearing Asian, the one that looked like your typical high school student with a sense of fashion on the side.  The day he walked into the practice room, crowded with other men for the ‘secret’ project groups JYP had suddenly come out to the open about.  He looked about as tired as the rest of them, but the glasses that were secured to his face hid the majority of it all, only Taecyeon himself could see when he focused directly on the man, he was unsure why he had caught his attention, but the irritation clear on his face when he first realized just how many people were in the room was probably obvious to anyone to looked close enough at him.  He obviously didn’t seem use to the whole morning thing with a ton of people, his bag being slung down on the nearest couch and his body slumping down on the floor near a small corner.  He didn’t seem to sociable today, cause if Taecyeon remembered correctly, Junsu was the type of man that talked to everyone, but it seemed like today wasn’t going to be one of those days.

He was about to be the one to get up and go over to him, the man’s lonely figure over in the corner, probably sleeping, kind of calling him, his posture saying he needed someone.  Though when he had moved first, just a twitch, it seemed someone else had thought of the same idea.  The man known as Lee Junho already at his side and poking him playfully.  Taecyeon bit his lower lip gently as his head tilted back some, watching the two, Junsu raising his head, a scold being thrown Junho’s way, the other taking it with out bashing an eye lash and only letting a smile remain as he poked at him again.

He was unsure why he felt jealous.

But his attention was quickly turned away when a someone else that he had been sitting with caught his attention.  His eyes only glancing over his shoulder one last time to get a look at the man who for some strange reason caught his attention, the urge to just be near the man overwhelming him and he actually found it a little hard to focus.  What was wrong with him today?

--

He didn’t think he’d ever come this close to him again, the bus crowded for the first day of training, everyone packed with their gear for the ride, and though he was one of the ones to get a single seat, the man known as Kim Junsu actually sat right directly in front of him, looking a bit different than from the first time he had seen him, the glasses gone from his face, probably wearing contacts, and fashionable attire that fit him rather snug and kept him warm looking for the harsh winter than went on outside.  The whole entire bus was crowded, but silent, most of the boys taking this long bus ride time to sleep, everyone leaning on one another, only two people remained awake, and that was himself and Junsu.  The other man messing with the phone he held in hand, his body hunched up against his seat, the heat from the heater on the bus seeming to not help him.

Taecyeon rose an eye brow now, his body leaning forward, curiosity getting the best of him now, his chin resting on the hunched up man’s shoulder, and though this was the first time doing so to him, Junsu didn’t seem to move nor flinch as Taecyeon got a glimpse at his phone.

‘What are you doing?’

Taecyeon managed to ask after a moment of long silence, Junsu being more comfortable than he thought he would be with his chin resting on his shoulder.  Junsu only glanced his way as a finger pressed on a few keys before he spoke up.  His voice was much more huskier than he had thought it would be.  Taecyeon suppressed a smile.

‘Writing lyrics.’

Taecyeon felt more than just curiosity now, his body moving a little closer now to get a better look at the small words on Junsu’s screen, they indeed were lyrics.  Taecyeon blinked a few times as a hand reached out, uncaring about the distasteful grunt that passed Junsu’s lips as he swiped his phone from him, his vision without glasses terrible as he read over the lyrics in one quick sweep.  They were so sweet, he could taste it in his mouth, literally.  Handing the phone back to Junsu, who pretty much snatched it, he rested back against his seat again, staring at the others back, who eventually turned around after a moment of apparent scrolling, probably making sure nothing had been erased by accident with Taecyeon’s careless fingers.

‘D-Did you like it?’

He asked, his voice a little nervous, it must not have been his usual writing style, Junsu was a song writer and composer from what he had heard, and he was pretty sure it was true.  His smile turned in a toothy grin.

‘It was so sweet it made my teeth hurt just reading the lyrics.’

He replied, Junsu’s face becoming scared for a moment, maybe sweet wasn’t what he was going for, Taecyeon having to lean forward again, a hand coming down on his shoulder.  Junsu held the phone tightly in his hand as Taecyeon spoke again.

‘Don’t worry, it was fine.  Sweet isn’t a bad thing, it’s actually good.’

He reassured him, and when this happened, Taecyeon was sure his heart had just stopped for that moment, what seemed like the most breath taking smile spreading across Junsu’s face coming into his vision and blowing all thoughts out of the water.

He’d never seen anything so beautiful in his life.  And he was sure, even though he hadn’t known the man more than two days, a crush seemed to have formed.

--

‘Roommates?’

Junsu spoke to him, his bags weighing down his body, his just slight cocked to the side with an eyebrow raised, him and Taecyeon standing outside the JYP building, the rest of the boys had already moved into the building with all their stuff, Taecyeon had stopped the other man to question him about rooming, it was going to be their first time all together and the boys had already picked out roommates, of course Taecyeon had been asked by multiple people on the way to the dorms, but Taecyeon couldn’t help but wonder if anyone had asked Junsu, other than himself, he would more than likely be turned down if no one hadn’t.  Junsu’s shoulders only shrugged.

‘But don’t we have to share a room with two other people anyways?’

He asked, and though Taecyeon didn’t like that idea to begin with, he nodded his head up and down,

‘Yeah, but I’d still like to room with you, ya know.  Since I know everyone but you.’

He stated, Junsu’s lips puckering out as a small smile spread across his lips, the bags on his shoulders being adjusted, the new glasses on his face being pushed up back to the bridge of his nose.  Taecyeon bit the inside of his cheek the moment he chuckled lightly, playfully kicking at his shin as he gestured him to follow.

‘I hate to tell you I take up a lot of space.  So who ever is staying with us also, we aren’t going to have much room.’

He implied, Taecyeon’s face becoming bright as he quickly followed behind him.  It wasn’t much in reality, but this definitely was a good start to begin with.

Junsu wasn’t kidding though when he said he would take up a lot of space, his clothes taking up half the closet and only leaving a little room left for the other three men, who thank god didn’t have to many shirts and pants that needed to be hung, the rest merely going into the nearest dresser where it would be folded and put away, something Junsu’s clothing didn’t do, unless it was boxers.

‘You’re such a fashionista.’

Taecyeon spoke to him when Junsu was throwing up with last of his beddings onto the top bunk, his eyes only glancing his way as his shoulders shrugged,

‘Can’t help it really, I love fashion.’

He spoke, stepping up a few ladder poles so  that he could lean over to fix the other side of his bed.  Taecyeon had to think about his own fashion style then.  He wasn’t really a fashion kind of guy, he only liked to wear what was comfortable, it was totally opposite from how Junsu was.

‘Did you want to become a fashion designer if you couldn’t become a singer?’

Taecyeon asked, moving a little towards Junsu who wobbled on the ladder, his sock covered feet not being the best grip.  Junsu didn’t seem to notice though, only continued to work with fixing his bed.

‘Something like that.’

He replied, calm as usual, until he stood up straight, that calm posture he held becoming unstable as his foot slipped from the bars and he came tumbling down from the ladder.  And though it was a short ladder, thankfully it was a short ladder actually, Taecyeon had managed to catch the man before he came head first to the ground, his butt hitting ground, Junsu in his lap, head resting against his shoulders and a twisted painful look on his face that probably looked like Taecyeon’s at the moment, whose hips and tail bone were aching at the moment.

‘Oh fuck me.’

Junsu grumbled loudly, moving his head forward, a hand reaching out for his feet that he had probably hurt in the process of falling down the ladder.  He winced upon touching them and so did Taecyeon with the movement of him being on his aching body.  Junsu instantly turned to him.

‘Shit, I had to have hurt you with that fall.’

Junsu turned his attention to Taecyeon now, his head quickly shaking back and forth.

‘I’ll tough it out.  Are your feet okay?’

He asked, ignoring the pain in his hips as Junsu looked down at his feet, a frown crossing his face, along with another wince as he moved his toes painfully slow.

‘I think they got caught on the bars, but nothing serious.’

Junsu replied, managing to move around so that he straddled Taecyeon on either sides of his legs, he apparently knew something was wrong with his hips, gentle hands slowly being placed on them.  Taecyeon groaned slightly as a pain shot through them.  His eyes shut tightly as Junsu’s fingers ran along with sore area.

‘It hurts there right?’

He asked, Taecyeon nodding up and down with quick movement, doing everything in his will to not push the man off of him.  Junsu was only being caring and Taecyeon didn’t want to come off rude, but also..  He couldn’t help the blush that darkened his face as Junsu’s fingers tried to work away the pain.

‘Ha, haven’t even been your roommate for a day and you probably already hate me for hurting you.’

Junsu spoke, his fingers stopping, Taecyeon sighing as the pain seemed to reside a little.  He finally opened his eyes, Junsu looking down at the ground, hands resting on his knees.  He looked so cute with that hurt expression on his face.

‘Don’t worry, I can’t hate you over an accident.  Besides it’s an interesting memory to look back on when we debut together~’

Taecyeon smiled, Junsu glancing up through his lashes, the hint of a smile creeping up on his own lips as he pushed at Taecyeon’s chest, the other groaned playfully.

‘What the hell makes you so sure I want to debut with you anyways!’

Junsu shouted playfully, crossing his arms quickly over his chest as Taecyeon reached out for pay back, both men smiling uncontrollably at each other.

Taecyeon was pretty sure his little crush grew into something a little bigger that day.

--

The first time he had kissed him, it was a memory greater than anyone he was holding in his little vault in his mind.  It was the most special memory, the memory that he used as something to always bring him up when ever he was down.  Taecyeon wasn’t so sure why it was so special to him, when in reality, it was only one of those plain ones..  But then again, maybe it was because it was so plain, it meant so much to him?  Or maybe it was the fact that it felt so plain in such a beautiful place?

‘Let’s sneak out.’

Junsu’s voice was barely a whisper, Taecyeon almost couldn’t hear him, what with all the snoring from the other men occupying the room, Junsu could of probably shouted and none of them would have waken up.  It’d been at least weeks now since the two of them had become what Taecyeon liked to call best friends, ever since that small incident with the ladder, the two only seemed to have gotten closer, not that Taecyeon minded, it was the closest he could get to the only man he had ever developed feelings for.

Taecyeon looked up from the laptop that was sitting on his chest, his eyes straining a little without glasses, but he could see Junsu’s eyes, his head upside down, hands gripping the bed tightly so that he wouldn’t fall, he frowned though at the male.

‘Sneaking out on a day we have a busy schedule tomorrow.  You’re kidding right.’

Taecyeon replied back quietly, shaking his head back and forth, but Junsu shook it just the same.

‘I’m not kidding, I wanna sneak out.  And I also want to show you something.’

He spoke, his voice pleading, and his eyes large as well, all of it directed towards Taecyeon who couldn’t look away.  How was he supposed to deny that?  Taecyeon mumbled to himself lowly for a moment, clicking a few more things on his laptop, ignoring Junsu for a moment before he sighed in defeat, the long minutes of silence enough for him to push his laptop aside and climb out of bed.  Junsu was already climbing down the ladder by the time he stood up to full height.

‘Hurry up and get dressed!’

Junsu whispered excitedly, already in the walk in closet pulling down clothes for him to put on.  He didn’t bother to close to the door like he usually did during the day, he must have figured Taecyeon couldn’t see him, but he could, and he couldn’t help but stare at the milky, soft skin that he saw.  By the time Junsu had finished getting dressed, Taecyeon had quickly turned away so that Junsu didn’t notice his stare, quick hands stripping off his own clothes and threw on the first thing he could grab.. Which was apparently a pair of faded blue jeans and a white tee, Junsu at his side the moment he finished, his face beaming with happiness as he poked at his arms.

‘Such a casual man.’

He whispered, Taecyeon shrugging his shoulder as Junsu reached down and took his hand in his,

‘Alright then, let’s go!’

Again, he wasn’t sure why he allowed Junsu to drag him along on this little charade, but his feet were starting to hurt, Junsu leading him along a wide path through the park, it was so dark and he hadn’t thought about grabbing his glasses so he wasn’t completely sure where they were going, only that after a few steps or so they would pass bushes and trees.

‘Where are we going?’

Taecyeon finally asked, it was the first time he had asked since they got out of the dorm, he didn’t think it had been this far away, but apparently Junsu liked going pretty far, this winding path was no joke.  Junsu chuckled, but did manage to at least tell him something.

‘A place that’s really bright here in the park.  I think you of all people would love to see it.’

Junsu replied, Taecyeon rolling his eyes, but sighed heavily and continued to follow.  After a few more minutes, and a long silence Junsu finally halted them, turned them and stood in front of a rather large looking push.  Taecyeon tilted his head in confusion.

‘Just follow me.’

Junsu spoke, diving straight into the bush, Taecyeon’s jaw dropping, Junsu really didn’t seem like the man to just dive straight into something like this.  He glanced around a few times, and eventually went in after the man, catching up to him quite fast seeing as he had stopped to wait on him.

‘It’s right past this bush.’

Junsu stated, his face all smiles as he darted towards the lighter part of the brush, it didn’t seem as dim and dark as the way they came.  Taecyeon squinted his eyes, but none the less continued on after him.  Upon reaching the other side, Taecyeon really didn’t expect to see the view that had appeared before him.   Junsu wasn’t kidding when he had told him it was a bright place.   Besides the stars, a bunch of little fireflies lit up the grass below them, creating an enticing glow that made everything covered by the light a yellowish tent.  Taecyeon had never seen anything like it before.

‘I feel like I’m in a fucking fairytale right now.’

Taecyeon mumbled, half to himself, half out loud, not paying attention to Junsu who had already left his side.   He looked over after a long moment of shock to find Junsu kneeling down in the grass, fingers outstretched to allow one of the tiny bugs to crawl up on his index finger.

‘I come to this place often at night when I can sneak out, it’s a great place to just collect my thoughts and think of new lyrics for a song.’

Junsu stated, lifting his finger up to his eyes, he wasn’t wearing his usual glasses either, his eyes squinting so that he could see the bug better up close.  Taecyeon slowly made his way over to Junsu’s side, his large body kneeling right along side Junsu’s.  Junsu didn’t look away from the bug, eventually the small creature flying away off his finger, leaving Junsu with a longing look on his face.

‘Bug’s that can fly must feel so alive out here, being able to feel the wind on a daily bases.’

Junsu mumbled, resting his hands on his knees, staring at the rest of the fireflies as they moved across the grass, Taecyeon wasn’t bothering with the bugs though, his eyes studying Junsu’s face.

‘You know you look rather handsome when you’re thinking.’

Taecyeon stated, Junsu turning his head towards him, an eyebrow rose.  Their eyes locking for a long moment, silence filling the area seeing as Junsu hadn’t replied, Taecyeon didn’t feel the need to say anything else, and it was before Junsu could turn his head away, Taecyeon’s hand unconsciously took the man’s lower chin and forced him to stay facing him, Taecyeon’s face leaning forward.

‘Forgive me for what I’m about to do.’

Taecyeon spoke lowly, Junsu’s breath tickling his lips as he leaned in all the way, his lips just barely touching Junsu’s, but it was enough to be counted as a kiss, his whole body shaking with nervousness, only to quickly pull it away and stand up from it’s kneeling position, Junsu remaining where he kneeled, his eyes half lidded, surprisingly not filled with confusion or surprise, but that was the last thing Taecyeon cared about as shaking hands rubbed the back of his neck and he stepped away from the other.

He doesn’t remember what made him turn away from the situation at first, but he had began walking back towards the brush, quick steps wanting to take him away from the awkward feeling scene and not have to deal with it for a moment.  Taecyeon wanted to mentally slap himself for doing something he didn’t even think Junsu probably liked.  His brain was a jumbled mess, and he didn’t expect to feel a hand suddenly pull him back, stopping him before he could even make it into the brush to get out.

‘Taecyeon.’

Junsu’s voice called him softly, Taecyeon allowing himself to glance over his shoulder, Junsu tugging hard at his hand, this time it was him who managed to force the bigger to turn all the way around, both hand’s resting on either side of his face once they were facing each other.  Junsu pulled him down without saying another word, their lips locking, but this time in a bit harder way.

That crush turned into something like love..
