Hi! I wandered over here after reading your story "Come to Call" that you posted via steelandsparks. I had to comment and tell you how much I enjoyed this story. I thought that you captured both Roy and Ed perfectly.

Their mannerisms and even how you structured their sentences ran turn to form. One could read the unspoken words that Roy was trying to convey to Ed throughout their conversation, and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the double meanings in what he said. Ed's anger, passion, and quick intelligence was also very evident throughout the piece.

Thank you for posting this story. I will enjoy being able to read more of your work in the future.

Aww, thank you! Re-watching the series after reading so much fic actually took me by surprise. Fandom tends to gradually taint the character's personality and how we view them. I was totally shocked to see that 15 year old Edward is sharp as a tack, and actually looks and acts very mature, save for the occassional outburst. Mustang speaks fondly of the brothers to Hawkeye and a few others, but when facing Ed directly, he was every bit the commanding officer, unless he was covering for something. Mustang intrigues me - there are a dozen little facets I want to explore ( ... )
