I ADORE this fic. I love your characters. They are so different, but so perfectly in character. I love that John's not taking anything for granted, and how much he really loves Sherlock. It's adorable, and it shows even if he's not ready for the words yet. But in this chapter it is Sherlock's insecurities (and not John's) that have stolen my heart. He's so used to being let down; he just has no idea what to do with John.

I love how you can paint this picture of them so vividly, without resorting to overstatement. Utterly brilliant updated. Thank you.
