Loved it. Glad you've solved some riddles for us. I know Sherlock's exhausted, but I don't want to see him give up on the singles OR the doubles.

I love this chapter as I've loved the whole story/series so far. I especially love: "It’s rarely spoken of, but my father’s great uncle, after whom I was named, spent his retirement years in Sussex with his bees and widower doctor friend of his. No-one in the family questioned it." I'll eagerly (but patiently) await the next bit you have to offer!

Thank you for a lovely chapter. I loved the reference to Sussex, the bees and the widower doctor. It's like having the cake and eating it too. You kept the original Sherlock the detective and given us this marvelous tennis player too.
