While last week's chapter was a brilliant and much needed tension relief, this chapter was much more poignant for me.
I could picture the slight awkwardness after sex quite vividly and the scene felt very real to me.
And that John finally put all the littles things such as the Dior shirt in context - thank god!
I really liked Sherlock's backstory and the way you interwove it with ACD Canon titbits.
It gave me a bit of satisfaction that I at least guessed half of what happened to Sherlock 5 years ago although I thought that drugs would play a bigger role in in his 'hiatus' from tennis.
But still so many questions to be answered: What did Moriarty say to Sherlock? How, when and by whom will their relationship be outed and what will happen to their doubles after this tournament...
So, more than enough for the next couple of chapters! You can count on me waiting anxiously for chapter 12 Monday after next.
