I agree! People get up in arms about inconsistencies, but tbh Show doesn't get enough credit for its continuities. There are some really lovely strains--both overt, like these pieces of dialogue, and less so. They always make me happy! (As do the inconsistencies, tbh--because I like putting puzzles together to see how they might, in actuality, work with each other.)
