Subversive Cross Stitch

I haven't been able to handle anything more complicated than needlepoint* lately, but I might be tempted to buy either the WTF? or Go Fuck Yourself kit.

*I'm guessing needlepoint is pretty much the "paint by number" of the stitching world, but it is easy and I can do it while I watch TV.

It's great until the kids start reading. Stan has an FU shirt that he bought at Steve & Barry's. Today Vanessa asked, "What does FU stand for?" We told her that it stood for Fordham University, but I think we're going to have to retire that shirt soon. We also have a Smartass University shirt and a few others that are not good reading material for kids.

My mom once cross-stitched a "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, Over?" pillow for this pilot she was dating. It took me *years* to figure that one out (I was about 13 at the time).
