Road Trip

So, diadexxus and I are planning to take a road trip up to Washington and see a bunch of sights along the way. We're planning to take the Pacific Highway much of the way up, and then come down in the interior. Here's the loose plan (we're looking for ideas and possible changes, suggestions welcome!):

Tuesday, August 2:Depart 8am headed for Redwoods

Sounds fun! We took the Hwy 1/101 route when we moved down here. Its a longer drive time wise but its good for a change of pace and sights.

Yeah, we're going that route mainly to see Redwoods and the Oregon Dunes. =) The real objective of the trip is Washington, I wanted to show Dia around my old haunts and favorite places: Leavenworth, the Olympic Peninsula, Whidbey Island, my favorite river watering holes, etc. =)

Its a fun route but those cliffs along the way make me wanna pee myself some times!! Scary at night cause you just dont realize how close to the edge you are getting!!

I don't plan to be driving on the coast at night, seems kinda pointless when you're doing it to see the coastline and ocean. =) We'll be stopping for the night in Crescent City before resuming bright and early the next morning. We'll be in Portland by nightfall.
