Just went to the thai resteraunt near my hostel. The portion was 3x the size you'd get in Thailand. Then an Oz bloke sat down with his wife so I chatted to her in Thai/english about how stupid and fat most phalang were. Hubby didn't have a clue. They'd been married for 4 years and he didn't speak a word of Thai. Foo

cool, cheers, lots of ideas there. think i'll dash over to taz next then melbourne. It's a bit cold for a lot of stuff. My cousin has lots of warm clothes I can borrow for walks etc!
