Weezer is satirical. Although I do believe that this is not the time to be satricial anymore (more over, they seemed to have lost how to be quirky)

I've heard the song. What I was talking about is the making of the video where they play clips of "We Are All On Drugs" and what might be "Peace"

They do sound old weezerish and promising (yet they still don't compare)

The bottomline: Some songs just aren't meant to be FELT. Now I'm not trying to defend Beverly Hills because to do so would be suicide. The song sucks but I think it's making a point.
