I think I mentioned recently about some former work colleagues contacting me and asking me to apply for a vacancy at a place I used to work. I've had like really weird and unpleasant dreams three nights in a row, I don't even know why. It just means I wake up anxious with my heart going.

In one I had recently, I was one of hundreds of people in a horrible massive lecture type theatre - more like a Victorian one, dark with a moustachioed lecturer - but it was for some sort of magic ( Read more... )

So today I used public transport and went into Nottingham city centre for the first time in months. It was for my 2 yearly-eye test so it was essential, need to make sure they're still a-okay and my contacts haven't destroyed my eyeballs. I made myself go for a run tonight. I hadn't been running for 4 or 5 days and I know if I leave it much longer, I'll lose what little progress I have made. But the weather has been off-putting this week, that icy blitz from Russia making it pretty uncomfortable out there. But I braved it.
