So my life has been sort of just been edging on. I mean right now it isn't boring, but it is sort of just in a state of calm. I have some stuff to look forward to in like a month. Im gonna turn big OLD 18 on September 6th. Notice the word old... 18 is really old and Im not exactly thrilled about being old. I guess it happens though. I bet 18 will

I felt the same way when I turned 18. That number carries so much weight with it. On my birthday, I was totally overwhelmed. I felt like since I was crossing that designated "boundary" into adulthood, everybody expected me to become an adult instantly. I cried on that day a lot. It was really upsetting. But, now I'm 19 1/2, and I still don't label myself as an adult. Just a mature kid with more responsibilities and priviledges.
You're right--there will be new and exciting things around the corner. Don't let another birthday get you down! There will be plenty of time for that when you're 78:)

Jill it is good to get a piece of your mind every now and then. I really miss it! Ohh by the way I think I am going to be 18 and a half, I just never use it because I dont get it... Thanks a lot Jill you always manage to make me feel ten times better!
