But everyone who lives in NoVA says Baltimore is a hole.

Just driving through northern Virginia makes me begin to get angry. It's a terrifying hive of conformity, pristine like a freshly-scraped-and-bleached cranium. I've got friends there, though, and if I believed in a God I would pray for them every day.

Besides, Baltimore's got crabs.
...and genital herpes!

I'm partial to Baltimoron. I have nothing against people there, I just thought it was funny.

I call people from here Durhammers.

This is a very real concern. There is a Guambat restaurateur near us. We love the place, but the lack of an elegant term to describe something from Guam makes it hard to tell people about it.

I was in the service with a guy from Guam, and every time he said the word "Guamanian" to describe his culture, the fighter pilot in our class giggled.
