That's not a carbuerator!

You should totally repaint it before mounting. It's cool that it matches though.

Yep totally planning on sand blasting it, then primer and repaint.

Sweet! Hey, uh... what parts do you need? I still have an 82 DL with the 1.8L engine sitting at my folks' place back in OK. I should be taking a trip out there in a month or so... I can pull things off of it. =)

The carburetor base. The cast iron part.

What polecat said, hes the mechanic who is working on my carb for me...I'm too inexperienced with carbs to be tearing it down to the level he is doing.
