hmm. maybe since it is intellectually stimulating it is personaly considered good, but the book companies dont really care how you relate to the book or what the book means to you, they just care about you buying it so they have more money. at least, thats what im assuming.

you know, people make SUCH a bad thing about being a consumer, but what's really that bad about it? to LIVE is to consume. just because you're a consumer doesn't mean you don't give anything back.

Look, if a book makes you think and makes you grow than sure the publishers are making money, but it is money well spent. If you got to waste your money on something than it might as well be on books that make you expand your horizons. And after the revolution, your money might be useless, so buy all the knowledge you can and then afterwards it will all be free...I think my thinking might be fucked up...but shhhh...noone else can tell :)
