it's for sure. i'm going to st francis and starting the next semester with hope in my heart and bells on. i wonder whether the reality of this change has sunk in yet. it would be nice if it were a smooth transition. and i wonder what will stay strong and what my priorities will be. i better start making hops forward with this education of mine that

Homage To Catalonia is good, but in that "well fuck, that's fucking depressing" sort of way ... I mean, it is about the most successful revolution this century being shot in the back by it's allies while fighting fascists at its ranks.

I recommended watching "Land And Freedom" after you read the book ... it's a british or maybe spanish movie loosely based on Homage with Ian Hart in it. I just watched it a couple of months ago for the first time in years and it made me bawl my eyes out.
